My name is Ken Kaufman, and this is AccruDent's Finance Leader Network. I hope that you will come to the conclusion that you want to join. But before I get into those details, I think it would be helpful to share the journey that led to me creating this group. 

In 2006 I left my first CFO role to create a fractional CFO firm. One of my first clients was a DSO with two brick and mortar locations and three mobile clinics. I was quickly immersed in the dental business and I loved it. All of it. The patients. The doctors. The practice managers. The assistants. I fell in love with the business model, including all of the messiness that comes with leading lots of humans and the complexities of legal structures, financing deals, mergers, denovos, and even doctor pay! I have been here ever since!

With time, something unexpected happened. Others started reaching out with questions about various finance, DSO, and related matters. This opened my mind to potentially help others on their journey. I started to feel motivated, even compelled, to have more impact.

I did some podcasting and spoke at several events, but what seemed to get the most traction and make the biggest difference was supporting finance leaders directly. When they implemented something from my coaching, it rippled and scaled through their entire organization. I was hooked! Finance leaders became my tribe, and I want to help them and their organizations achieve their maximum potential.

Finance leaders like you have difficult jobs that are often lonely and underappreciated. Your tasks are often herculean, yet you usually have little to no support.
